Black and Pink
Black and Pink National is a prison abolitionist organization dedicated to abolishing the criminal punishment system and liberating LGBTQIA2S+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS who are affected by that system through advocacy, support, and organizing.
They have a grassroots network of 11 volunteer-led chapters and more than 20,000 current and formerly incarcerated people. Their current work includes initiatives to develop housing and community spaces for LGTBQIA2S+ youth and young adults who are system-impacted and to provide housing, support services, mental health support, drop-in services and/or community programming, a penpal program with incarcerated members, The Sex Worker Liberation Project, a youth leadership initiative and national advocacy.

Just Detention International (JDI) is a health and human rights organization that seeks to end sexual abuse in all forms of detention. JDI works internationally to mitigate threats to prisoners. They acknowledge LGBTQ+ and vulnerable prisoners, as well as seeking to end anti-migrant violence. JDI combines education and campaigning, with direct support for survivors.
