Barricades is an online conference focused on all aspects of Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables and its various adaptations! Barricades held conferences in 2023 and 2024. Barricades will be held on July 24-26, 2026!
The Guest of Honour for 2026 is Jill Harsin, Professor of History.
Previous Guests of Honour have included Bonnie Gleicher, Nemo Martin, David Montgomery and Jean Baptiste Hugo.
